And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Deuteronomy 11:19

When I read this verse and really think of what God is commanding us parents to do, I get a little overwhelmed. That is a lot of teaching: in the house, when we’re traveling around town, when we lay down for bed, and when we get up in the morning. It is a great reminder of the magnitude of the task at hand.
